POSTAL HISTORY

The use of the postal stationery is often very interesting. In these cases the postal stationery is also postal history, and they are often seen in postal history exhibits. Some of the interesting uses of bi-coloured postal stationery is shown here.

 
4 øre wrapper used twice. 


6 øre postal card. Address misread and therefore sent wrongly to Holbaek (Danish city) instead of Hellekis (in Sweden).


3 øre postal card cancelled with "Grauballe" (small Danish city) in writing.
